He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Sometimes we act as if this verse reads in the reverse: “If you have faith the size of a mountain, you can move a mustard seed” – as if it takes enormous faith to do a something small. The truth is that even though we may not be able to physically move a mountain, we can trust that if we put our faith in our powerful God, nothing will be impossible for us.

Almighty God, thank you for making nothing impossible for us if we have just a little faith. Help me to exercise my faith it grows in strength. Amen.
