Psalm 103:1-3

Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

Key Thoughts

Praise must not just come from our lips. Praise must come from deep within our soul. We praise God because we recognize all the great blessings He has given us. While God is worthy of praise because he his holy and mighty, we have even greater reasons to praise him. He has been so very gracious to us!

Even through all the hurt and sorrow, trials and tribulation we face, let us not forget to praise our gracious and merciful heavenly Father for all the many blessings He pours out to us.

Prayer

Holy and loving Father, I praise you for your love and your mercy. I praise you for continuing to bless me despite my shortcomings. Help me never to forget all you have done for me. Amen.
