Key Thought

All gave some and some gave all. As we celebrate those who have given their lives for our country, be compassionate, loving, full of honor and respect for the sacrifices made by our soldiers and their families. It’s not about agreeing with wars; it’s about recognizing there are people out there willing to sacrifice their lives for ours.

Let’s also remember those who have been martyred for their faith in Christ. Let’s pray for those under persecution and for the families of our precious brothers and sisters who remained faithful to the end.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, comfort those families who are mourning the loss of a loved one. Bring peace to those whose hearts are full of sorrow. Thank you for all who are willing to lay down their lives for what they believe. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
