Mary and Joseph were not able to find a room at an inn, so Mary gave birth to baby Jesus in a stable. This did not make the birth of Jesus less special. Many people were waiting on this precious baby – the Son of God to be born. He was God’s promised King, and would one be our Savior.

The Nativity story teaches young children that Jesus is a gift from God and that his birth was special. Children will also learn that Jesus was born to be our Savior.
